Extendable, non-compressible housings are used where a "push-pull" capability is required, such as with cutaway housings.

 

     
  Ripcord housings are compressible, but not extendable to safeguard against premature cable loading.
     

For complete ripcord assemblies, provide handle type, and cable length from end of ball to end of pin. For multiple pin ripcords, additionally specify distance from end of pin to end of pin.

Standard cable is Mil. Spec., 7 x 7, 3/32" Stainless Steel, Aircraft Cable. Pins are of Mil. Spec.. S-7720, Type 302 Stainless Steel.
